(Reporter, Lahore)Punjab biggest cultural body Executive Director is missing. Sources confirmed since the postings at PUCAR in November, 2021as Executive Director Saman Rai (PAS)BS-19 is missing and in her absence Abrar Alam have been performing duties as de facto Executive Director. It is further investigated and found that she has been busy in her promotion course in BS-20 and in order to facilitate her during course Government, Punjab posted her at PUCAR where she has been getting executive allowance & other perks & privileges of Executive seat without performing duties except signatures forwarded to her allotted governmental residence by staff.
She neither attended & visited the Punjab Talent Hunt 2022 Programs nor attended Executive Committee meeting on 28-02-2022 being the Secretary of the committee to present the agenda items. However, presence has been managed on the minutes of the meeting & presence sheet contrary to the conduct of Civil servant discipline.
De facto under probe Executive Director Abrar Alam attended the meeting on her behalf.Despite, Secretary Information & Culture conducted meeting when the quorum of 4 members was also not completed early in the meeting due to late arrival of finance representative.
Sources confirmed that authorities of PUCAR in so hurry that they have issued the illegal meeting minutes at once & consequently the notifications. Chief Secretary office in this matter turned blind & silent on this all illegal activities in spite of the fact that decision regarding inquiry of PUCAR is pending before Chief Secretary ,Punjab from 14th February,2022, sources confirmed .
