KARACHI – US dollar has closed at Rs165.54 after falling by 59 paisas against the Pakistani rupee in the interbank market today.
Rupee lost a further 2.87 in intraday trading today after hitting a record low of Rs 166.13 yesterday.
The price of the US dollar increased by Rs 6.87 in four sessions, putting additional burden of debts on the national exchequer of Rs 800 billion.
