RAWALPINDI – Sheikh Rashid Ahmed, a senior politician and chairman of the Awami Muslim League (AML), revealed on Saturday that he will be host a TV show after the holy month of Ramadan.
Ahmed, who is currently serving as the interior minister of the country, made the revelations while talking to media during an event in the garrison city of Rawalpindi.
The minister did not share the name of the television where he will host the show. However, the development comes as the ruling PTI is in trouble due to no-confidence motion submitted by the Opposition, which claims to achieve the numbers required to oust Prime Minister Imran Khan.
Sharing his view on prevailing political situation in the country, he reiterated his stance that the government should call early elections after Ramadan.
He added that all the PTI lawmakers in the National Assembly must resign after the no-confidence motion succeeds against the prime minister.
