LAHORE – All theatres in Lahore are still active and working full time despite the fact that NCOC ordered to close all theatres, earlier this month. According to the notification released by NCOC, all theaters were to be remain closed from Aug 3- Aug 31.
According to reports, covid-19 cases are on the rise and Pakistan is experiencing a brutal fourth wave. In a video circulating on social media it can be seen that dramas are being performed in Lahore’s Alfalah theatre.

Administration hasn’t taken action on them.
Today Pakistan recorded 95 deaths from coronavirus over the last 24 hours, the highest single-day toll during the ongoing fourth wave of the pandemic, National Command and Operation Centre’s data showed Saturday morning.
The country reported 4,720 new infections on Saturday, pushing the total caseload to 1,063,125. The NCOC data showed that 57,233 tests were taken in the last 24 hours to check for COVID-19.
At one side govt is working to combat with noval disease and other side Punjab’s administration fails to take action against culprits.
